Congress at a Glance
Polymers are almost always positioned at the threshold of different worlds: from surfaces and thin films to colloidal dispersions, medical devices, and electronic interfaces. Experimentally exploring, modeling, and controlling polymer behavior at these phase boundaries is the ultimate key to unlocking tomorrow's technologies—governing wetting, adhesion, material stability, and charge transfer.
EUPOC 2027 offers a premier global platform that bridges the gap between theory and application. It brings together world-class scientists, engineers, and students from across the globe to network, collaborate, and tackle the main challenges facing this vital research field.
Major Addressed Topics
The scientific program will feature plenary lectures, oral communications, and poster presentations covering the full spectrum of polymer interface research:
- Polymer surfaces: design, adsorption, wetting, and adhesion phenomena.
- Polymers in confined spaces: focus on thin films and foams.
- Dispersed media: polymer behavior at interfaces within dispersed systems.
- Immiscible components: interfaces in polymer blends, composites, and coatings.
- Advanced characterization: innovative methods for analyzing polymers at interfaces.
- Modelling & simulation: simulation of polymers at phase boundaries and the thermodynamics of phase separation.
Why Attend?
Whether you are an established academic, an industry expert, or a student shaping your future career, EUPOC 2027 is the perfect place to:
- Learn from global pioneers during high-impact plenary sessions.
- Showcase your research and gather valuable feedback through oral or poster presentations.
- Build lasting connections in a highly collaborative atmosphere, surrounded by the rich history and warm hospitality of the Romagna region.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
- Who officially organizes the conference and issues the certificate?
Associazione Italiana di Scienza e Tecnologia delle Macromolecole (Italian Association of Macromolecular Science and Technology).
A certificate of attendance will be issued to all participants. Upon request, we can also provide a certificate specifying the title of your presentation for oral or poster contributions.
